they should have used an orange ball, Ian Darke (the commentator) even said during the match "whichever sponsor is in charge of providing the ball, it's probably a good idea to make an orange ball for conditions like these". to be honest, an orange ball wouldn't have solved everything. by the end of the match, there was a good 3 inches of snow on the field, the ball wasn't moving properly.

i was wondering the whole time if it was against the rules for a goalkeeper to grab the snow around him and build a wall in front of his goal or build some snowmen to be extra defenders... i doubt it's in the rule book that you can't
