    Combining 2 types of workout

Okay, so my trainings going ok, steady strength gains and noticable mass increases but i was wondering if i could alter my training because my routine is getting a bit monotonous and im going to start logging my gains

I was thinking for each body part i do, doing one 'BIG' exercise using a 5x5 scheme, so for instance on back day doing 5x5 barbell rows or deads

Followed by the rest of the exercises for that muscle using a HIT training program

    So for example

    Chest / triceps

    5x5 flat bench

    Hit incline press

    Hit flys

    Hit seated bench

    5x5 close grip bench

    Hit bar pushdowns

    Hit db raises

    Any input?
