    how many biceps exercises should you do?

    i do bis with back so my biceps do get worn out from the back exercises. i do exercises preacher curl 5x10 and barbell curl 5x10 do you think i should add like hammer curls or dumbbell curls or not?

    I think 10 sets is plenty. I wouldn't add to that.

    Depends on what the rest of your routine looks like, as well as your experience level.

    I like dumbbell curls, but I do my bi's with my tri's and shoulders on the same day, so i'm not the norm.

    What I do for my bi's is this:

    3x10 Standing dumbbell curls
    3x10 Sitting dumbbell hammer curls
    3x10 Sitting easy bar preacher curls on the bench

    then I hit my tri's and shoulders and at the end of the workout I do
    3x10 Standing preacher bench curls with dumbells

    then I do a super set of 3x10 cable curls having each set be biceps curls on the cable machine followed by triceps pull down on the cable machine with the same weight, then bi's again, it's a killer at the end of my workout and my arms are usually ready to fall off.

    Well I do Dumbbell Curls 3x8 then Hammer Curls 3x8 then EZ Bar Curls 3x8 then overhand EZ Bar Curls 3x8. I am lifting for mass so my Dumbbells and Barbells are heavy so 3x8 is enough!
