Even if the U.S. went batsht insane with nukes (nuke use would be most plausible in the case of attack against SK/Japan, but even then I see no reason to nuke every single city and military installation when the US' conventional powers are so ridiculous) against NK, there'd be no nuclear winter as a threat to humanity.
