    1-3 rep range on a cut???

    I'm just curious when I do go on a cut would lifting Monday and Friday doing 1-3 rep range on the big 3 maintain my muscle? I really like doing that range I'm not really sure why just feels better. Any opinions? Thanks!

    Yes that would work fine....but the better question is....

    at 5'10 161lbs why are you cutting??

    Whatever works for you. I personally wouldn't go that low, unless your trying to increase your 1rm or something. I think you should keep your reps over 5, I mean if your doing 1 set of 3 at the end or doing something like wendlers 5 3 1 then thats fine, but to not go over 5 for any sets...I'm not a fan.

    That's not updated lol I'm 5'10 185lbs and feel like I'm 20% bf atleast so I figured id cut down then start bulking again right after I get lower

    Ya im trying to just get strong size to me doesn't really matter but since I'm cutting I don't think its possible to get much stronger and I feel as tho low reps with high weight feels like more of a workout
