I don't think women are scary to get to know emotionally.
Women just are usually naturally that way( I'm more closed off when I was younger)
The easiest way to start is ask her questions about herself. People love to tell you about themselves and it seems like you're interested, that could lead to more things. Ask about her family and understand if the parents are together or divorced, gay who knows what she's going through.
I feel that might be a big reason why many people here could relate to not having relationships because their parents had a hard time and a bad example of what a healthy relationship could be.
Maybe some people take a relationship waaay more serious than others- and good reason to be because all your experiences good or bad add up to make you the man/ woman you will become.

I don't think it's weird, but i hope it happens soon for you. But when you finally do get in a relationship with a woman or man who is more experienced than you, they probably won't have the patience to deal with your amateur mistakes as a partner. They will wonder why you're so selfish because you haven't matured (or learned) the type of partner you can be yet. You may also fall for anything a gf throws at you because you have not had relationships. You don't want to get caught up with an immature bitch (man or woman) just because they're your first or second partner; they will definitely take advantage of that (and don't lie, your actions will make it apparent anyway). Once you hit your mid 20's and early 30's you will want things to be simple, but problem is you're dealing with a lot of broken people out here. stay safe out there
