I know chuck's come the most highly recommended for a good lifting shoe, but I have super flat feet. Will wearing a shoe like that be more painful than its worth? Im really trying to correct my squat form and was looking into hard soled shoes when i thought about this.

Get inserts if you are concerned.
You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Seriously? I can lift in Sanuk's perfectly fine. I know everyone is stuck in the "Chuck! Flat soles! Vibram or nothing" sort of mentality, but just wear something that fits and won't deform/destabilize, like running shoes with a huge amount of low density foam.
