Who agrees with the idea you gotta Lift Big to Get Big!?
im a pretty firm believer when it comes to this. I cant imagine getting a massive back and large chest without hitting the muscles hard with some heavy weight. HOWEVER i most definitely believe that form is the key to getting results and i usually will never sacrifice form for some cool big numbers. That is where i see a lot of people go wrong. They take this idea of Lift big to get big and they let their pride get in the way of getting a good workout in. If you do not get the form right and just keep moving up in weight over time you are going to run into some injuries. Now for the people that do know what they are doing and i mean reaaalllyy know the fluid motion of each workout and feel the muscle contraction whether on the concentric or eccentric path and get a good rep in every time then go right ahead and DB row those 120's, t bar row them 4 plates, curl some 75's but all in all don't sacrifice the form, the contraction and squeeze you get in a good rep just to feel like a savage infront of that hot chick doin squats in the rack next to you, it ain't worth it. Patience my friend...as the RESULTS! The GAINS from having good form and moving that heavy weight with good form THAT is what will get you that hotass girl in the future!
