I can understand how some people can spend that money like an idiot. Like some people said, most of these people aren't the most financially responsible people. All of a sudden they have a lot of money, but it doesn't change their ways. It just puts their already irresponsible habits on an even bigger level.

I never understood why people don't invest half and then take the other half and divide it by how many years they have left until they reach one hundred.
Then just add that amount to your income each year. Maybe spend a few hundred thousand on bills/ treating yourself.
So say he invests 7.5 million. Takes the other 7.5 million and spends 500k on himself. Then assuming he's 45, divide 7 mil over 55 more years. He gets around 127k to spend a year from that alone.
Say he invests in 5 two family houses at 500 grand each and charges 1.8k rent for each apartment a month. That's an extra 18k. ( minus expenses) a month to live off of, or 216k a year. He still has 5 million more to invest.
Idk man id be comfortable with even just the 127k a year before investments

Yeah see they have the money to blow on whatever they want. Poor people don't.
edit: regarding OP, I think I could blow 15 mil. Easily. I'm not saying I would but I dont see how some miscers are acting like its 100mil. Buy a few luxury houses/cars/toys. That's 3 mil for me right there. Set up my fam and such is another 1.5mil. I would start a company or two with another million. That's 5.5 million right there. willsoonamassafortuneofmyown/10I have CF(genetic disease) hence my super small size.
