But how do they "make alot of money somehow". It takes money to make money (to invest). How does one make that 'seed' money. By not being of the disposition to piss away every dollar that comes into their posession on material objects.

Most people who are responsible with their money don't play the lottery. They may buy a ticket on a record lottery, but in general, no effin way. So the high rate of bankruptcy doesn't surprise me.

Whenever bleeding hearts complain about "the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer" you can point to stories like this.

The wealth gap is caused by personal habits of individuals, in this case it is plain to see why the poor stay poor.

I can understand how some people can spend that money like an idiot. Like some people said, most of these people aren't the most financially responsible people. All of a sudden they have a lot of money, but it doesn't change their ways. It just puts their already irresponsible habits on an even bigger level.

Thats very true, If your not constantly adding to your bank balance via smart investments, It would not talk long to go through 15 million if your living large.

I never understood why people don't invest half and then take the other half and divide it by how many years they have left until they reach one hundred.
Then just add that amount to your income each year. Maybe spend a few hundred thousand on bills/ treating yourself.
So say he invests 7.5 million. Takes the other 7.5 million and spends 500k on himself. Then assuming he's 45, divide 7 mil over 55 more years. He gets around 127k to spend a year from that alone.

Say he invests in 5 two family houses at 500 grand each and charges 1.8k rent for each apartment a month. That's an extra 18k. ( minus expenses) a month to live off of, or 216k a year. He still has 5 million more to invest.

Idk man id be comfortable with even just the 127k a year before investments

What a dumb fuk. If he put that money in his savings account he could have lived off the interest. That's 300,000 dollars a year. Fuking morons always win the lotto.

The very act of purchasing lotto tickets shows fiscal stupidity...

Yeah see they have the money to blow on whatever they want. Poor people don't.

edit: regarding OP, I think I could blow 15 mil. Easily. I'm not saying I would but I dont see how some miscers are acting like its 100mil. Buy a few luxury houses/cars/toys. That's 3 mil for me right there. Set up my fam and such is another 1.5mil. I would start a company or two with another million. That's 5.5 million right there. willsoonamassafortuneofmyown/10
