What is the best pre-workout in your opinion?

Hey guys, which is the best pre workout supplement you have taken before? And was taste good? Did it give you loads of energy and good pumps ect, please answer thanks guy, there are so many pre workouts out there so I need help choosing thanks guys

I wanted to drop this review after getting three workouts under my belt with this product. So many times you see a review after one use and high praise given to a product without any time spent with it, not the case here .

As stated I received 3 samples in the mail and was excited to test this out. I never have tried a preworkout from Neogenix and have read some solid reviews about this preworkout from them.

As you can see the main thing to spot is the 300mg of caffeine per serving. I love the disclosed amounts of ingredients so job well done Neogenix for that. It's a nice formula and definitely a different approach compared to a majority of preworkouts. For some 300mg of C may be a bit to much or might push people away from the product. I can assure you this product will not leave you feeling all jittery and sh!t, at least for me it didn't but more on that in a second.

Here is two views of one packet mixed up.





I used about 8-10oz of water each time and mixed each pack up with a spoon. As you can see from the bottom view there was some particles that collected at the bottom. With a couple more stirs of the spoon it wasn't much of an issue.

The flavor was grape for each sample. With the first sip you get a grape taste followed by a slight medicinal like after taste. It's nothing bad by any means and I was able to drink each sample with no issue.

Performance wise this was right up my alley for what I look for in terms of a preworkout. The immediate caffeine kick hits you from the 300mg of caffiene and wakes you up. Through the beginning stages of my workout I started to get zoned in mentally and noticed just a very laser like focus that I had each 3 sessions. I felt good through out the duration of my workouts and my workouts are no joke.

Overall the performance that I got from Neurosurge was rock solid in terms of energy and focus. Those are the two things that I look for in my preworkout. There was no ill side effects post workout and the "coming down" was very natural like.

The three samples provided me some great workouts, great focus and energy and I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to try a new prworkout that has a different approach to the market.

First decide on what you want from a pre. Just stim/focus or are you looking for creatine/beta alanine/citrulline/etc...

Then find which contains what you want and make a decision.

In my opinion most pre's are only good for stim considering the extremely low doses of ingredients to actually give benefit. Brb 750mg of beta alanine, brb 1g of creatine, brb 750mg of bcaa - all in an extremely concentrated dose LOL

BB.com Scream is one I like a lot. Two in one product really, a pre and a bcaa product.
I am currently enjoying Maximize Intense/Hemavol stack. Energy and pumps are just insane with them.

Id try between 2-3 scoops with that stack. 2 is probably a good amount.

depends how you like stims. if i need a ton i take C4 but most of the time i take Formutech Volatile. its a lower stim so i can take it really anytime and not have problems sleeping and the taste is really good. they are coming out with a new orange flavor at the first of april. we are doing a promo for a free tub to log starting tomorrow. jump on it. thats how i first got to try it. i logged it a bit back before i repp'd its in my sig..

believe it or not, I've had the tub of glycergrow for almost a year and struggled to find a way to use it. A scoop or 2 of Compete really masks the taste of Glycergrow (was actually so impressed that I privately PM'ed Powercage and RazinAzin about it)..still a little gritty though...

1 heaping scoop of Compete + 2 scoops (3 if ya a bit daring) of Glyergrow in a 24oz shaker bottle...Hemavol + stim preworkout afterwards..

my commute to gym/work is an hour so no rush to drink it all at once
