I was pretty shocked at B-Paks 2nd place finish. I really dont think he deserved it, maybe the crowd swayed the judges, i think so. Was Hide's that bad? I thought he looked pretty good, i was just so busy trying to see why JOJ looked so short, shorter than Hide?? I dunno why but that really tripped me out.

As something to draw central attention to, that's a horribly misconceived part of his routine. It'd be like Dennis Wolf drawing both hands around his left calf and flexing and unflexing it with his head looking back at the audience grinning.

The problem with guys like Pakulsi is that he dosen't even try to control his gut when hes not posing.. Guys like dorian and ronnie had pretty decent sized guts but atleast they could hold it in and not make it look bad

This, he can't change IFBB judging and rules. If the judges let it slide there's nothing he can do about it. This year seemed really bad for guts, I don't know if it was the fact that the top tier guys were not there which opened it up to a lot of the third and fourth teir guys, or what, but it was like a godamn maternity ward show.

This thread needs more pics. Maybe I don't remember too well, but when you guys say he needs more control, I think it's more than that because his waist is thick as fuark. Like Phil imo has a thick waist. It's not wide, but it's thick so it's certainly not small. Ben on the other hand has a thick waist but it's also wide. Markus Haley has an all out distended gut.
There's definitely different degrees of the gut but I wonder how much Ben could do on stage to control it? I mean, dexter can control his because the issue is more of distention. But ben's waist is wide and thick I think it'll take changes in his supps/diet/training or w.e thefuk he's doin to change his midsection.
I thought his waist throws off his entire physique. Something about small forearms and big waists just looks horrible to me and makes him look really out of proportion.
