    Do i have wide hips??

    OK guys, I'm just starting out. I have a #%$% body but hey it's a start. I have a question though, do I have wide hips. My body fat is really low I'm pretty much anorexic. I know having wide hips is ****. I've seen some people with some child bearing hips and it look ****gy as phuck.

    No not really in my opinion. I feel like that will go away once you eat more, and once you start really hitting the gym. It's just that your midsection is very skinny so it gives the illusion of having wide hips, but its not very noticeable

    Nah, you're fine. Once you start to bulk up, it will look better. I had the same sort of thing when i was 14 or so.

    Thanks guys.

    It kind of got in my head because I saw a couple of threads about it, never gave it a thought or even noticed anyone else.

    I'm REALLY skinny now so I've got lots of work to do. Maybe it'll be even less if I work hard on my obliques.

    By the way what about the side of the thigh, what is that called because some people have that kinda wide almost like they're wearing baggy pants. It's not fat or muscle because it's clearly bone when you feel it.

    EDIT: Greater trochanter is what I'm talking about

    That's also part of the hip and probably the connection of the ball-socket joint to your femur.

    I can stick mine out quite a bit if I stand a certain way.

    Yh that's what I'm talking about. Again mine isn't wide but Honestly after reading some posts about hips I starting getting paranoid. Thing is I never even realized it was a "thing" that anyone noticed.
