Which apps out there are any good. I see a lot of them that seem to do the same thing but how many let you set fat/sugar/protein etc goals?

It seems to me that myfitnesspal is the most popular app by far, I also think it lets you set your requirements like that. I prefer to use a more basic app, so I use one on my android called simple calorie count. Pretty much have to add all of your own stuff, so if you want something easier definitely my fitness pal. Probably a much more user friendly app haha.

Great database for finding just about any food with macros broken down nicely.

I use MFP but I've noticed it underestimates my total cals by ~30.

Myfitnesspal is very good, the only let down is that it only lets you set ratios for your macros so you can't plug in specific numbers, but you can get it pretty close to what you want.

My Macros+ developed by IFPA pro Jason Loewy. It's available for all iOS platforms (iPhones, iPad, iPod), but he is working on an android app now as well.

Excel is outdated. You have to manually input everything. MFP has a great database and remembers all your foods. You can just click "copy yesterday" and tweak it.Originally Posted by JonFranyutti
