A video of your low bar squat would be extremely helpful.

Keep your head neutral relative to your spine, is my advice. But whatever works for you.

Thumbs around, or thumbless "grip" - both are fine. Try both, and see what you prefer using in the end. Leaning forward will happen whether you want it or not, when squatting low bar. I suggest trying your best to stay as upright as possible, but don't stress about it either way.

As for bar position, it should be on top of your rear delts (for actual low bar), rather than sitting on your traps.

Keep in mind, too, that high bar might be a better choice for you. Again, try both, and make your own mind up.

The point was that you asked for a low bar squat critique, but posted a video of a high bar squat. How are you missing the problem here?

You've already researched popular grips to help with wrist pain...now do a low bar squat and post it. NO ONE can help critique a low bar squat unless you post one.
