    Do you drink water while working out?

    If I drink water while I am working out..I get cramps all over my stomach and I feel bloated and feel like I am going to puke

    Small sips.. about half a liter through entire workout.

    Remember reading somewhere that performance-wise it's best to hydrate before training as the body will pull away blood from the muscles and towards the stomach in order to absorb the water. Honestly I don't know if I should believe it seeing as water is absorbed so easily/fast.
