30+lbs at single digit bf% is a insane size difference. With both athletes having incredible builds as well. So it wasn't just size. But two best of the bests.

But remember, body weight isn't how shows are won. It's very misleading. When Jason Huh posted a pic and said he was 300lbs almost nobody believed him until he stepped on the scales in a video. Mamdouh Elssbiay apparently weighs 315lbs at the moment and he would certainly be dwarfed by Ronnie.

At the other extreme Arnold still looked very big next to his competition in 1980, at 6'2 and 220lbs. So how much you weigh can be deceptive.

Of course but since we are talking about 2 bodybuilder who excell at pretty much everything else, when one wheighs that much more it is bound to have a huge impact had they been on stage together. We can never really be sure how much the difference would me, i myself just try to picture it in my mind lol. A very flawed process i agree.

I hate to say this because i will probably be called out but i don't think mamdouh would get dwarfed. He surely would get owned, but i don't think he would get dwarfed. He competed at 282, that is one big dude.

one thing for sure about phil, he is very smart and analytical about the sport of bodybuilding.
his poses are tailored to hide his weaknesses better than any other competitor, how he keeps his legs wider and squeezes his butt to fill in his innner thighs (from the front), how he turns his feet out to give a bigger sweep (unlike kai), the way he does his most muscular to hide this narrowness (no more hands clasped, yes aware thats not a MM above)

That's how you're *supposed* to pose! Kai * hides* his legs by not turning his feet outward enough and keeping them too close together!
