    Bulking - is EC bad to use for concentration/focus?

    Hey all,

    I used EC when I was losing fat. I found a pleasant side effect: my concentration went through the roof. My writing is my passion and I found that I was able to sit down and write, write, write for hours on end.

    I want to use it to enhance my writing again, but just started bulking. Is it counter-productive, and do I need to compensate by throwing in some more calories? I'm eating 3000-3100 calories a day right now.

    I'm doing one supplementation a day at most: 24mg ephedrine, 200mg caffeine. Usually late afternoon.

    (I have some nootropics coming in the mail this week that I can hopefully swap the EC out for.)

    Was it the EC combo that was doing it or the caffeine? I'd suggest trying just straight caffeine to see if it has the same effect.

    As long as your appetite doesn't become to suppressed, it's not going to hinder bulking much at all.

    I think it must have been the combo. The triple espressos I made did not seem to hold a candle to it. It could be placebo, but I felt very on point with the combination.

    Go for it. I use EC preworkout year round (I do cycle off for a couple weeks here and there).
