Best Beta-Alanine Supplement

What beta alanine supplement are you on? What is the best? (as far as ingredients, dosage, brand etc.) I know all beta alanine supplements contain beta alanine, so please dont answer the thread without an honest opinion. Ive been doing alot of research the last 2 weeks, and ive read from multiple sites that the 5 best and all you need supplements for building muscle are (in order): Creatine, Beta-Alanine, Whey Protein, BCAA's, Glutamine. I have came across a conclusion that Decacor is the best creatine supplement (so I dont want any BA supplement that includes creatine as an ingredient). I cant find much info anywhere about Beta-Alanine Supplements though?; I cant even compare them. And by the way, i forgot to mention, I know the supplement plan Im doing might look obsessive, but for 3 years now ive done so much researching on exercise & nutrition, yet always been very skeptical on supplements, even whey protein considered its liquid vs. solid like fish or chicken. Ive always bulked (never reaching my desired weight) weighing 165 its right now. With summer approaching, for once ive finally decided to cut. More like tone and maintain as much muscle mass as possible. So ive decided this time, this spring, to go all out. So please help me here and let me know your Beta-Alanine supplement and if your not on one, still feel free to share some knowledge

OP, I wouldn't spend money on glutamine, and any creatine monohydrate from a reputable brand is a good choice.

Beta-alanine has lots of solid evidence showing that improves muscular endurance and reduces fatigue. It's a great choice if you're at a point in your development where you feel it's time to push the envelope. Needless to say, creatine and protein powder are useful as well. Studies that suggest a benefit of BCAA supplementation have done so within the context of inadequate dietary protein. Unless you're training in a fasted state, I see no benefit to additional BCAA if protein intake is sufficient. Therefore, I would just focus on getting the right amount of protein each day. Glutamine does nothing for muscle gain or fat loss, and it's basically useless for anyone outside of a hospital setting, so you can scratch that off your list as well.

^Exactly what I was going to recommend, and for the same reason, because it's the best deal you'll find. I prefer the pills over powder because it's much easier to dose, particularly if you take multiple daily doses. I don't know if it's mandatory, but I recall a study mentioning that they choose multiple doses to maintain beta-alanine plasma levels at a more stable level. Another reason to use divided doses is to avoid paresthesia (tingles).

Both are Carnosyn, so yes. NOW is by far the best value.

SNS caps or IntraXcell are good alternatives if you prefer caps.


Though I never understand when people buy the exact same product in caps opposed to powder, and spend 2x more. It takes all of 10 seconds to weigh out one serving. BA doesn't even taste bad.

I think Anavite is the most convenient way, honestly. Caps would be fine too. I say that because, BA isn't tasteless. I can just taste it in certain things. Water, Protein shakes, etc. It's fine in a sweet preworkout, and usually coffee. Yeah, yeah, there are so much worse tasting things... Just saying.
