    Cortizone shot in acromioclavicular joint

    Just gone one done by my physician assistant. First time i let him do it and now i am sitting with pain in shoulder. He really had the needle inside for quite a while. i asked why and said that he wants the liquid to spread more evenly. odd response. is this common?
