Supplements to help erectile dysfunction?

I'm 22 and I have suffered from ED my whole life. I have trouble getting it up or when I do get it up it is brief and not as hard for penetration. I've used Cialis it worked great for awhile but I noticed it has been becoming less effective and it is expensive. I hope this is the right area to discuss certain supplements or herbs.
I've been reading a lot online to get and find some ideas regarding what to take and in what dosages. Today I picked up a couple things and began taking:

3/1/13 30-60 minute exercise (running, jump roping, lifting)
3/2/13 American Ginseng 1g

3/X/13 Ginko (Yet to get)

Bananas

***Been drinking 11oz of low sodium v8 a day***
***Drinking 2 scoops of muscle milk a day***
Holy **** I'm taking so much stuff lmao kind of concerned about that....
I don't expect to get immediate results but over time would this be beneficial to maintaining or getting it up?
Anything you could recommend would be appreciated.

I woke up today with morning wood for about 30 minutes after taking all this stuff for one day. Maybe a coincidence? I wasn't expecting immediate results but so far so good. I'll probably get to test it in the bedroom tonight or sometime this weekend, so I'll update my post after that.
I ran/walked haven't done exercise in a long time but it's a start. Did some jump roping, jumping jacks and push ups along with pull ups. Need to start lifting now... I've got some bowflex weights I can use until I rejoin the gym. I'm not overweight if anything my body is pretty athletic and I need to gain then cut/tone up.
Tried wacking off (Which I never do, If I wack off it's 1-2 times a month if even. I prefer the real deal) Had little to no trouble getting it up and keeping it starting to believe the supplements are helping or I have anxiety around this girl in the back of my mind. Will keep updating as I go along to share for others like me! .
I have had a physical in September 2012 I think and everything came back within normal ranges. I was also nerve tested and was told I have had no nerve damage. I am thinking of getting another physical and seeing a urologist to discuss causes. I know the current supplements / herbs take time to build up in the body, so I don't expect to be able to perform this weekend like I want to try. I'll still give it a go if the opportunity comes though.

Have you ever gone to a physician/psychiatrist to make sure you don't have any physiological or psychological issues that are causing your ED? I know anti-depressants can cause it first hand from when I was a teenager. A good diet, exercise, plenty of sleep, and a hot ass girlfriend did the trick for me.

Well, my diet was poor up until recently I've been including a lot more fruits and veggies as well as less fatty foods. I figured maybe that is why I had a deficiancy or something. I have seen a doctor regarding the issue and I got a physical, everything was where it was supposed to be. I had an accident where I was 11 and I sustained severe damage to my lower and upper back, so I figured nerve damage could have occured. He did a nerve test and my nerves are fine. I would like to think it's not all mental I understood nerves the first few times I've had sex would be understandable but it's everytime I try to engage in sexual activity. So, now I worry about being even able to get it up lately. I try to put my doubts aside though.

I think I still consume a decent amount. Hmm, I'm going to start exercising again running, jump roping and lifting should help my blood throw if I stick with it. I never have morning wood either, like I used to. So, something has to be wrong. So, I figured I'd go to a uroligist for a second opinion but I'm afraid he'll tell me the same thing, nothing is wrong with me. There has to be something I can do exercising probably being the most important....

I'd say your issue is probably in your head from performance anxiety. It's one of those things where you're worried whether you will get it up and then you self fulfill it. You have to find a way to overcome that anxiety and find confidence. Not really sure how to help you with that because everyone's different, but if you head into the bedroom worrying you're going to be distracted. As far as pills that work, I've taken Viagra for fun a few times when I was younger and it was insane, but I've read that you can form a dependency for ed pills which like you said is one expensive and two should be unnecessary if you have no nerve damage.

I've had the mentality when intoxicated that I will do it and **** her hard and not worry about it but I'll still fall short, so I don't know if it is mentally an issue at that point. Though, recently I was exposed to HSV-2, so I worry about letting down my FWB and disappointing her because if I lose her than I'm screwed. So, I have been slightly depressed lately but I've been getting better and I don't think that is why I would be having problems since prior to that I had these problems.

at age 22 i'm 99% sure it's a mental thing. you just need to relax, go slow, make sure you're comfortable and "let" things happen, dont try to "make" them happen.
that being said... the OG Prometheus Rising + Primal Male(don't think it's still available) by MAN gave me boners all day everyday... was out of control.
libigrow or libihigrow (can remember the spelling) is a good otc boner pill. i took it once for my first 3 some cuz i wanted to be a god... erection lasted an easy 2.5 hours.
I rep back about 92.4% of the time.

Interesting I'll look into that. Slightly jelly you had a three some lol, I've never had one and now that I have hsv-2 I doubt I'll get that chance.

I'd agree with psychological as well, but supplements that give you a raging boner uncontrollably may help you cross that psychological hurdle. Or get some RC Tadal

Thanks for the advice. I plan on exercising 30-60 minutes a day aerobic / lifting when possible. Looking forward to summer as well, so I can go on long bike rides... I'm hoping that if I do everything in my power with supplements, multi, and exercising my current state will improve if not sieze to exist.

Careful spending too much time bike riding. Major problem with bike "enthusiasts" is possible nerve damage from your gooch bouncing up and down on the seat.
I highly doubt an occasional ride will do any damage, but I wouldn't risk it if I were already having issues with my junk.
Just a thought.

As one who is studying to be a dorctor, I HIGHLY recommend seeing a doctor. Supplements arent the way to go unless you know what is inhibiting inflamation of the blood vessels.

I've been in your shoes at around your age my good man. You just need to "get a couple good rounds in" with a ladyfriend and then it'll be smooth sailings from then on out. Performance anxiety is a hard thing to deal with. Just relax, maybe find you some pills that you see on the commercials for ED, and as I said, just "get a couple successful rounds in".

Diet & exercise. Check your blood pressure, if it's high it can cause ed. I've had good results lowering my blood pressure through diet & exercise, potassium rich foods can help such as bananas & pistachios.

I've had several good rounds in with this girl in the past using 'Cialis' 10-20mg. Recently it's proven to be less effective than it previously was even in higher dosages. I've had sex with her too without using the pills before without issues but lately it's really hard to even maintain or achieve. I am starting to believe performance anxiety must be my issue but I'm usually pretty confident in my ability to do well and please the girl. I just have no confidence in achieving or maintaining since things have been not working. Though, I tested wacking off today and I have no problem doing that.... So it must be when I'm around this girl. She started as a FWB type deal and now I guess I fell in love with her. So, am I holding things back? Damn I don't know what to believe anymore. We both have been around and had sex with other people and admitted to liking each other and having a lot of fall outs, so maybe I have things in the back of my mind prohibiting me from getting hard? Lol, sorry I'm not trying to look for therapy or anything from any of you I seriously just want to fix this as it's really sad to be disappointing to this girl and then thinking she might go find somebody else if I can't do it.

My blood pressure is in a good spot. I've been to the doctor about 5 times in the last 2 months and it's never been too low or high. I have been there a lot lately due to being exposed to HSV-2. Bananas do sound like a good idea as I have no idea where else I'd be getting potassium.

I had my blood ran in a physical had to fast for it as well in august 2012 or september. I could get another I guess but I wouldn't say a lot has changed since then aside from being exposed to an STD.

ALSO I went to see a urologist he told me it was performance anxiety, and I started having sex with another girl and wow he was right. It was all in my head. I can get hard whenever I want I just need to not stress out before sex. So, I'm done taking cialis ^____^.
