    Creatine?

    Hey guys,

    So I've been attempting to bulk for a while now, and I'm having some trouble putting on some solid weight. I just started taking 5g of creatine monohydrate pre-workout (MM1000 brand), skipping the loading phase. I'm only about 100 pounds, so I was wondering if 5g a day would be too much? Or does body weight not matter? And I'm planning on taking it every day regardless of whether or not I work out. Also, is it best to take it before a workout, or directly after with my PWO shake?

    You probably only need to take 3 grams. Take it daily and it doesn't matter when you take it.

    How many calories are you consuming? What's your training program look like?

    Fine if you want to take creatine, but you've got to have the above in check.

    I eat about between 2000-2500 calories a day (hard to be exact because all of my meals are in a college dining hall) and have been doing a power lifting strength program that is provided to me through a coach. I lift 3-4x per week with no cardio
