    Gaspari samples?

    Emailed gaspari about hopefully trying a couple of their products before sinking considerable money into a full tub. Got a quick response but was also told that I would be responsible for a shipping charge. Not much but it kinda caught me a little off guard.

    I have gotten samples from other companies that are as big/smaller than gaspari with no problems/shipping charges.

    Just curious as to why a company that is as large/successful and has such a generous rep on this forum would risk losing a potential customer over a shipping charge.

    Not bashing/flaming just wondering if other people have gotten samples from them and had to pay shipping or if I just got somebody having a bad day.

    They do that because they probably get 100's to 1000's of requests a day. If it's $2 shipping it, times 1,000 requests that $2,000 a day and over $730,000 a year.

    I think its more then generous for them to offer a product free at all. A lot of companies won't even make samples, and some actually charge for samples themselves.
