watched The Dead today. I thought it was really good: well acted, good gore, and pretty depressing. Don't know how I feel about those types of "no one lives" endings. Thinking like Inside, Eden Lake, etc...
watching VHS Viral right nowLast edited by darkninja67; 10-25-2014 at 07:48 PM.

when they actually where hrror stories, not just random, unfunny crap? Yep.....
watched VHS viral was a little irritating when they kept using VHS screen garb **** was annoying, but overall i enjooyed these stories more than the earlier ones(aside from glasses from #1 and cult from #2).......there was this really gorey segment, and one with a cool sci-fi twist.....the wrap around 'story' actually had more story than previous ones, but still wassnt great
up for tonight

Saw the newest Chucky. For something that wasn't made for theater release it wasn't TOO bad, some good "shock" scares but the storyline makes me laugh more, especially once he starts talking more often. Watched a few bad horrors over the last week, the last decent one I saw was "The Cabin in The Woods". I did a Hellraiser marathon as well, some of those early ones have some scary concepts/scenarios.

Check out my list of 50 favorite scary movies. Not all are horror movies, but maybe you'll enjoy it.

Went on a double feature date with the wife tonite we saw John Wick & Ouija. Since John Wick is not a horror movie I wont go into detail but it was good with a lot of action other than the ending of the movie I recommend it...Ouija on the other hand did not impress and without giving away any details of the movie: lackluster scares, obvious continuity issues, and characters that were just boring. I heard a lot of people rave about this movie at work that it was scary and either my movie tastes have increased or I have become bored with cheap scares.

Friday the 13th's were always my favorite horror series, maybe because I was born in 85 and have so many memories of watching them. I have the entire collection. Even though some of them got crazy bad, they still hold a special area in my heart
Funny you mention this, I am actually doing this with friends at my place on Thursday. Most of us have seen it but wanted to revisit it. When we first watched it I had a SVS 12, now I have two 18" subs in 10ft^3 ported enclosures that I built. The sound of this movie is awesome if you have a nice set-up.
Yesterday I watched Rabies

Was pretty entertaining, everything that can go wrong will, you will understand why it is called rabies.

Got around to watching the whole of "Insidious 2". Wasn't too bad, one thing they do well is great jolt scares, even when you know it's coming sometimes they just attack you from a different angle or they throw the timing off - one trick is to have no music when something pops up. As far as being scared by the storyline, well less than the first, especially now I feel like The Further is more like a zombie video game than something terrifying.
Also got around to watching "The Taking Of Deborah Logan". A self-found possession horror. I didn't have expectations, it's a once off watch but still worth the one watch. There's a bit at the end they did really well, but besides that a standard 6/10 horror.
I wish they did a proper movie of "DOOM", not that laughable video game take they created.EoR is powered by unique Nanomolecular Hyperdispersion Technology. Giving him high bioavailability and myocellular saturation.

Watched "The Taking of Deborah Logan" after someone recommended it on here as just something to throw on. Had pretty low expectations, but it was your generic filmed documentary gone wrong style horror movie. It was meh, wouldn't recommend going out of your way to see it.
