What if Nitro Tech and Optimum Whey have the same price? what would you choose?

i know there are lots of downside regarding Muscle's Tech Nitro Tech, but the major downside is the price because its too expensive. but what if Nitro Tech and Optimum Whey have the same price what would you choose? and some comments please.

Neither, lol. I'd choose Phase8 over Nitro-Tech and would choose Giant, MTS, Trutein or Myofusion over both...although I have yet to try Phase8 which I will be soon

Nitro-Tech is solid protein IMO and make it easy to hit your creatine maintenance. Depends on what you're looking for between those two.

Comparing it to ON's Hydrobuilder would be better as both contain creatine.

So let's see..

What are the downsides other than it's not 80 cents a serving?

I think a lot of the negativity on the MT Nitro Tech is from the past. I remember buying the old formula and giving it away! Time to move on with this one as it's improved and better tasting. I just bought two 4lb tubs of the milk chocolate, arriving today, as it tends to go out of stock.

Also, I'm not a Muscletech Rep. Nothing to gain.

Nitrotech, hands down! Just cracked open a tub of Nitrotech C&C. Delicious. I have not come across a single flavour of ON that I even liked.

Only possible downside to me about Nitrotech would be the creatine, but that is only because I like to drink 2 shakes a day, and that would be too much creatine for me. Not really an issue though as I always rotate my protein flavours so I can do 1 shake of Nitrotech, one shake of something else. Have heard great things about Phase 8 though, and after enjoying there C&C Nitrotech I will be tracking some of that down soon!

neither, not that both aren't good quality. nitrotech has added creatine which if you're already taking might be too much. on tastes terrible while being high quality.

If the prices are same per serving for both supplements, I'll take Nitro-Tech. For now, ON Whey Gold Standard is a better option than Nitro-Tech as Nitro-Tech is expensive.

nitro-peak is 5.4lbs for $40 so thats a good deal
personally i would never buy ON whey again because it tastes really bad.

however, other good proteins are
giant sports delicious protein 5lbs $52 i believe
trutein 5lbs $56
protean (a lil more expensive)

bout to get a sample of phase8, will let you know how it tastes very soon.
also heard great reviews of myofusion, probably will try that soon as well.

I want to say Nitrotech but I'd have to go Optimum still. If nitrotech didnt come with creatine (or so much) I would consider it. I could taste a little of the grainyness of the creatine. But other than not wanting to take 10+ grams a day through my protein and pre thats my only complaint,

Definately ON for me even if they were the same price. Protein tastes bad most of the time and of the many I have tried ON is the most agreeable with both my taste buds and stomach. Plus Brand loyalty I have been taking the ON for like 3 years.

I tend to disagree, protein doesn't taste bad for me most of the time. It is the rare occurrence that it tastes bad, and examples of that have been when sampling ON Chocolate Mint. For me using brands like Trutein, Giant, Gaspari, Protean, Nitro-tech, UP 2.0, Syntha 6 my protein shakes are a treat.

Not saying I am not loyal to any brands, because trust me I very much so am, but I also don't limit myself or make myself suffer due to unrequited loyalty.

I definitely do respect your opinion though, and am glad to here you have found something you really enjoy.

Protein doesn't taste bad most of the time, you've been drinking too much o.n. There a tons of high quality proteins that taste great. While o.n is of high quality, why not enjoy your shakes?

There are a few things I like about Nitro Tech but the thing that really did it for me was the fact the milk chocolate flav mixed with water is one of the best I have ever had. I don't drink milk so that's always been a problem.

And to touch on the other poster drinking bad tasting whey. In this day and age there is no reason to. I don't personally have a problem with ON. But, if it or anything I try taste like dirt there is no way I could drink it as much as I do.

Also I noticed some here have a problem with the fact Nitro Tech contains 3 grams of creatine per serv. I guess if you don't like creatine that could be an issue. I use creatine and no longer have to buy it. I drink two of these a day. Six grams of creatine is perfect. I keep another whey on hand, usually an Isolate, for that 3rd or 4th shake during the day. Was Isoflex now it's SAN Platinum. All is good.

This ! OP nitrotech is a gr8 choice quality and taste wise besides, there is no longer need to purchase a separate creatine mono

I love Nitro-Tech, just be aware of the creatine in it. Phase-8 is a great non creatine option

Its like the cream part of an Oreo. Going to write up a big review of it this weekend. Needless to say, I am impressed. Not to mention I mixed it with GS C&C, as that one is really cookie flavoured and I swear to god, it was better then the sample of an Oreo Milkshake I got in Vegas.

1/2 scoop Nitro tech, 1/2 scoop GS, 1/2 cup water, 6-7 ice cubes in my magic bullet = heaven. Can't even imagine how epic it would be with milk.

I also like Nitrotech quite a bit - have 3 or 4 big tubs of chocolate milkshake or whatever it's called. Used for a meal replacement, and it's relatively low carb. Good complex, good protein, beats ON.
