    2 months lifting progress

Sup guys, I just started lifting for the first time for the last 2 months. I used to be obese and depressed about my weight so i'm trying to change that. Now, I took some progress pics of my front and back. Any comments and suggestions? My goal is to get a 6 pack by September and I wanna know if I'm on the right track.

Doing a Push-Leg-Pull routine with a rest day in between them. eating around 1700 cals a day or should i bump it down to 1500?

    Thanks for the input guys!

Your on the right track, just keep lifting. And at 160lbs I would never go below 1700.
Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.

Thanks man! I'm starting to get a plateau with my lifts though, they don't seem to be going up like in the past few months. Should I change my routine or just power through it?

How can you have been on a plateau for the last few months when you said in your first post you only startd lifting 2 months ago?

Your lifts should be increasing notabley. Somethings wrong (prob with diet) if they're not moving, make sure to get lots of protein.

Well you are in a cutting diet usually under this kind of diet you don't see much strength gains. Don't worry you will get much stronger when you start a bulking cycle, best luck!
