.... good luck with that. The technology just keeps on bleeding down to the lower end, the materials will continue to improve in their durability, you can't regulate this! They have put over 600 rounds through a 3D printed plastic AR lower end, and now 30 round magazines. These are plastic and can be printed on low end 3D printers, and the quality will just continue to improve to the point where these will almost be drop in replacements!! They are also working on a complete printable handgun! All of the CAD files are made available online at no charge and can be further improved and modified to suit your needs... think full auto should you choose!!
F'ck you to our inglorious leaders!!

What's a 1000 rounds of Wolf or Bear 7.62 selling for these days? I dropped by ammoman and it looks like they are out altogether. I have enough to keep the DHS in business for a good while... maybe time to make a $ or two and see what I can get for it.

Found some decent prices (< $300/1000) but they are all out of stock.
This probably sounds like a crappy thing to say but when this latest round blows over and prices bottom out I'm going to invest in 5-10 AR kits and stash them away. I have a feeling I'll get a better return on them down the road than anything else I can invest in.2 + 2 = 5 (for extremely large values of 2)

^ This isn't an accurate statement, well, the statement part of it.
"Assault weapons" are a made up term that post-date Reagan's presidency. As for the combined acts of Congress and the President during Reagan's time, they made owning automatic weapons manufactured after a certain date illegal to buy. Whether or not this is different in principle is debatable. As to whether or not everyone was this upset? Well, I was 9 years old when he became president.
edit: And if he were alive today and significant in the goings-on of society and did support the legislation being kicked around in DC I would oppose him as well. Is Reagan supposed to be sacred or something?Last edited by mslman71; 03-04-2013 at 10:20 AM.

When Did Reagan Pass any legislation that Banned Weapons from the Private Citizen, other than Automatics ?, it certainly wasn`t the Firearm Owners Protection act & or that he nominated some Pretty staunch 2nd amendment Believers to the Supreme Court, if your thinking Brady Bill that was signed after he left office.-----------And to Compare Ronald Reagan with ANYTHING this current administration is doing is folly-----------------------------{ "The trouble with our Liberal Friends, its not that they`re ignorant, it`s just that they know so much that isn`t so"------Ronald Reagan}

Limiting the ammo supply is a very logical choice if you want gun control. If you ban this gun or that gun...well OK but to be honest there's no really great criteria for what should 'be banned'. Well you get the same issue with what kind of ammo should be 'limited' as well, right?
I don't know how they practically would be currently limiting the ammo supply...but I am surprised they aren't going after a tax on certain kinds of ammunition rather than an 'assault weapon ban' which is so impossible really to even define.

So what is an assault rifle ban supposed to do in America, Piers Morgan?
