Yeah it's frustrating that he has to pull out these kind of games just so we have a chance to beat sub .500 teams, we need better balance.
And tbh he kind of put us in a hole in the first place with his turnovers, needs to cut that shyt out.
I'll take the wins however they come at this point though.

Is it sad that I'm actually secretly still hoping that the Lakers sneak into the playoffs, win the West and face the Heat in the finals?
Another series against OKC would be boring imo as we'd just roll through them again.
When the Lakers got Nash and Dwight in the off season and everyone was hype I probably sounded like a troll when I posted how I was glad we'd finally have some competition in the finals, but I was srs and just wanted to see LeBron vs. Kobe.
Pls based God, make it happen.
Edit: Tbh, at first it was amusing watching them lose and seeing everyone freak out but at this point this ******* team is pissing me off because I like Kobe and they can't make anything work the way it should.
Kobe has to be a hero to beat the fuking Raptors. The Heat went through this, lacking cohesiveness, but it only lasted for the first quarter-first third of the first season together where everyone was disconnected.
I hope they actually learn how to use Dwight and Nash effectively and make the West playoffs entertaining. Would not watch a Utah series/ 10Los Angeles Crew

The Heat's roster in their first year was just flat out better, although they lacked good role players. Last year they finally had good role players and won. Lakers badly need 3 point shooters, and defensive players. Outside of Kobe and Dwight(to an extent)... the rest are just one way players. MWP can't hit a shot to save his life, Nash is non existent on the defensive end, Pau is injured and just slow/past his prime, Meeks is ridiculously streaky, Jamison can't defend a tree and isnt much of a 3 point shooter, Earl Clark is coming back down to reality... nothing more than a decent hustle guy off the bench but he's starting.

You definitely do need some 3 point shooters and someone off the bench who can be a spark. Unfortunately I read an article discussing how in the past the Lakers would have just gone out and gotten a guy like Reddick to solve these issues but due to the new luxary tax agreement, it's much harder for even big market teams to gobble up all the good role players like JJ to surround the superstars.
Also, in relation to the Heat, it's going to be a nightmare trying to keep the big 3 together in 2 years due to the new agreement. Forget LeBron, you can be sure that a few teams are going to offer Bosh the max and all 3 are going to have plenty of suitors. It'd be interesting to see how LeBron and Wade could keep it going alone and how the team would be structured if Bosh left.
In regards to the Lakers:
-Nash is arguably the best shooter of all time imo. Not that he is THE best, but his array of shots, his 50/40/90 seasons etc. I feel like you'd be much better off getting him to take significantly more shots. He's your second best offensive player.
-Pau is still an all star. He's just suffering from the same thing Amar'e is in NY. The front court is crowded now and he doesn't know how to play with Dwight.
-MWP makes lol hard when he tries to run a fast break or copy Kobe's game and go one on one, resulting in some idiotic turnover. But he's still valuable defensively. His hands are ridiculous. He has great defensive instincts but he's getting old like the rest of the team.
I figured this team would have become more cohesive by now, despite the injuries. I've seen some progress but you can't expect Kobe to play like this just so you can beat the likes of the Raptors. This team facing OKC in the first round is 0-4 at this point. You need to shoot for the 6 seed or drastically improve to have any shot at making it past the first round this year.Los Angeles Crew

1. Yeah I LOVE JJ Redick and Kyle Korver type players... Lakers may actually be semi-contenders with either one of those guys even with this current mess of a roster. New CBA is gonna stranglehold Lakers for a while.
2. Nash is a great shooter, but his lack of size makes it hard for him to take advantage of that... specifically as a spot up shooter. It's extremely easy for teams to rotate to him because he can't get his shot up fast enough against players. It's not a matter of Nash shooting more, he just physically can't shoot 20 times a game... and the more times you shoot the less efficient you are gonna be.
3. Pau is a borderline all-star at this point. He is just out of position and playing next to Dwight he looks AWFUL because he is almost useless offensively (can't spread the floor as a 4) and he is TERRIBLE defensively against 4s, and too slow to be a good team defender. If we had a good PF playing next to Pau, we could actually get Pau to look decent again. We also forget that Pau is old and past his prime.
4. MWP is a great man-to-man defender. TERRIBLE offensive player at this point in his career. He is just above average as a team defender.
5. This team will lose to OKC 4-1. Parker going down sucks for the Lakers because I think the Lakers could actually have an okay shot against the Spurs.
