North Korea's all talk. North Korea stated that they are in a state of war, something that hasn't changed since the Korean War. Basically, they stated that any relations with the South would be handled in a militaristic manner. I would hesitate to say that North Korea has declared war so to speak, all North Korea is doing is having a pep rally for it's citizens.

Yeah that's what has happened. Japan and Korea had expressed concern that we were not securing the situation like they had hoped, almost as if we had left them out to dry. Our response is to send two B-2's over South Korea, just 50 miles south of the boarder, to show that we do indeed have the South's back and sort of make Kim Jong Un soil his pants in the process.
Kim Jong Un decided to put his rockets on standby overnight, claiming that he would 'dissolve' the United States, but in reality their ICBM's can really only reach Alaska. Additionally, they do not have nuclear technology that can reach even that far.
What will be interesting to see however is where China will fall on this issue. Historically, as was the case with the Korean War, China has sided with North Korea. Essentially our economy needs China and we don't really want to piss China off.

Kim Jong Un is a negligent piece of ****. Not only has he overstepped in his boundary by targeting his missles at us, declaring war on South Korea (a country we NEED to keep non-communist) is pushing it. I fully expect a response by Obama to station troops in South Korea, either that or drone strikes. Kim Jong Un should take a lesson from society, you do NOT **** with a country that is the most powerful super-nation in the world with enough nuclear warheads to blow your country up 100,000 times over that is also allied with the other strongest countries in the world.
REALLY? Your country is in poverty, your people are starving and you want to start a war?

C'mon guys I like Kim Jung Un....He's like a small fat cute little anime character. Or he looks like an Asian version of the kid from the movie "UP"
But on a serious note. If North Korea declared War on South Korea, it's goodbye north korea.
No country on this planet matches us technology wise, stealth wise, or skill wise. We could nuke them into extinction if we pleased.
Same goes for China. They may beat us in terms of sheer numbers, but they are way behind us in terms of technology. WE could eliminate China if we wanted too as well,
too bad we march in Chinese made boots...cool

I guess. I mean it depends who you talk to. I'd call it more of a stalemate with a lot of tension
I'd compare the conflict between North and South Korea to 2 male dogs who live in a house together but everytime they get near each other, their tails go up, the hair on their back lifts, and their alert and ready at any moment to attack.cool

If North Korean actually attacks South Korea there is no doubt China will back up NK.
Not because they're allies, but because of China's safety.
Think about it, if Mexico or Canada were attacked by nukes and missiles the U.S would be threatened and we would do something about it.

True True I see your point, But I think if WW3 were to happen, then it would happen more than likely out of the middle east.
But I could see it happening through North Korea.
North Korea attacks South Korea. America Steps in. China steps in or possibly gets neutral about the situation. Taiwan steps in to assist SK and USA because they hate China.
Then Australia comes in, and sends only the aboriginals to fight, that way Australia wouldn't have them anymore, since the general consensus is they don't like them.
Meanwhile in Iran, they decide they want to test out their bomb, and it ends up going all the way up in the air and down and explodes on or next to Israeli soil, so now Israel joins in the fight. Britain sees what's going on and says "hey, I want a piece of this." So the brits join in...why? because their british. France sees britain join in and says " Well we want some action too." So they join in, and ally with America to create the ally powers again from WW2. Germany sees this and says " Hey, We want in." So they join and make France their Beeyatch like they did in WW2.
So now you have all these countries fighting each other. And then of course there is Canada. But Canada won't do or say anything, because well.....it's Canada. As long as you don't take away their hockey then they are contempt. Plus if Canada decides to leave and fight, who is going to be America's Hat?
So with all this going on. We fast forward 10 years..........
" It's Day 43 since the Apocolypse. There's only 20 of us left as far as I'm concerned. 18 are men. The women didn't make it. They proudly stood by their post in the kitchen. That probably explains why the food supply is low.
We are sending out patrol units of 5 everyday at dusk to gather whatever resources we can.
It kind of sucks....We don't get monday night football anymore.
Jimmy still won't have butt secks with me. I don't know how much longer I have.".....

Irrational skeptic checking in..
Why do we treat the fact that they're testing nukes like its a joke? Even a small payload would be devastating if they managed to get rockets working. Will we actually remove them from the Earth if they attack us (USA)? Just always wondered why we consider them such a joke of a country. When in doubt, eat more..
