Hey guys, before you all start repeating the same phrase of "It's impossible to gain 30 pounds of muscle in a year!", hear me out.
I just turned 18 and I am weighing 150 pounds and I am 5'11. My goal weight is 180 pounds. I am new to body building, and I have heard in a few articles that I have researched that if you are new to body building then you are able to gain muscle much more significantly than someone who's worked out for years. Other research that I have done was watching Twilight (no hate) and Taylor Lautner gained 30 pounds of muscle within one year with strict dieting, etc. The article is here..
(I apologize, I can't post links yet x) )
go to menshealth DOT com/fitness/taylor-lautners-workout
With the formula it provides, I have came up with the following..
-must eat 3510 calories per day
-PROTEIN - 180 grams of protein per day
-FAT - 90 grams of fat per day
-CARBS - 495 grams of carbs
-2 hours of workout, skip every third day.
-6 meals a day - each with 585 calories.
I usually don't eat alot, because I was a chubby kid so I'm self conscious about my weight and fearing of getting fat. I recorded all that I ate for one week and I averaged eating 1500 calories a day (while watching what I ate). I am now ready to go all out and force myself to eat all this food to grow large.
Even if I don't hit "gaining 30 pounds of muscle" I would more than happy to gain 20 pounds. I figure if I shoot high, then I would land somewhere up there.
Any positive advice guys?

What the hell is this? You must not have done much research AT ALL! As a beginner you'd be lucky to gain 20-24lbs of muscle in your first year considering your diet and training are PERFECT, which I'm sure wont be judging from what you posted here.
And Twilight boy? Are you serious? The kid did martial arts his whole life, he bulked maybe 15lbs and cut up for that movie. His physique is easily attainable by ANYBODY in a couple of months.
No articles you read can possibly come close to proving wrong the info on these forums, I suggest you use them if you plan on succeeding.

^^ Do the all-pro's simple beginner's routine to gain muscle. Not that ******* stuff.
Also, never trust those guys who advertise getting you "RIPPED AND SHREDDED IN JUST 1 SHORT YEAR". Most of their previous clients would likely be exaggerated. That's not to say lautner's physique wouldn't be attainable in a year, but be wary of what advertisers say you should expect*Wish I was dead crew*

You've got everything backwards. It's easier for someone who has worked out for years to gain muscle, because they have a base to work with. As for Taylor, IF he did it naturally, you have to keep in mind that he has a ton of money for the best personal trainers and dietitians. Something most of us don't have access to.

Wrong, each year it gets exponentially harder to put on mass. The initial shock your muscles are put under causes them to overcompensate muscle repair, hence "noob gains". Each year your body gets closer to its genetic maximum skeletal muscle, and each year it slows at is approaches. A base means nothing, a newbie skinny kid who lifts 90lbs will build as much muscle as a newbie bigger kid who lifts 180.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I didn't mean someone who has been lifting for years and still lifts. I meant someone who lifted for years then stopped for a while. I lifted for a few years in high school, and because of that I always have a bit of muscle tone and size even without working out. I JUST started up again, and I'm anticipating bigger/faster gains than when I started lifting for the first time.
