I wasn't sure if anyone has ever worked at a bigger name gym. I have an interview at one next week.
How do you dress? Obviously, not sweats, but is dress up still expected for a personal trainer position?

There was a great write about it at joe-cannon[dot]com/fitness-job-interview-steps-to-success/. I haven't applied for a PT job yet, but plan on taking some advice from that article if/when I do. About half way down he mentions how to dress and recommends wearing something like khakis and a nice button down shirt.

Slacks + polo
srsHe who lets the world, or his own portion of it, choose his plan of life for him, has no need of any other faculty than the ape-like one of imitation. He who chooses his plan for himself, employs all his faculties. He must use observation to see, reasoning and judgment to foresee, activity to gather materials for decision, discrimination to decide, and when he has decided, firmness and self-control to hold to his deliberate decision.
