Will dropping bf help chest appearance?

So been on bulk since sept (6'1 175lb 12% bf.......at 195 15% bf now) made some good gains but feel like excess bf is hiding some of what I worked for. Will cutting up help generally? I don't want to look to scrawny that's why I've hesitated cutting

really dropping body fat makes all your muscles including chest seem bigger but sometimes people don't have that much fat in their chest so it might not help. like the first guy said pictures would be good

As long as you have a decent base, losing fat will always make your physique look better. If you have more of a scrawny build ATM, or simply very little muscle, then don't count on it.
