Hey, I believe in God, man. I've seen him, I've felt his power. He plays drums for Led Zeppelin and his name is John Bonham, baby!

I realized I don't have enough casual brown shoes. I have sperry boat shoes, sebago brattles, and Clark beeswax DBs. I'm in the market for some nice brown double monks, but what other less dressy shoes can I wear, especially with chinos in summery weather? Thanks.

Damn jake, that's pretty right on. I just hate how the ugly tan is half the price of cognac. Have you seen either in real life?
And what's wrong with monks??

No, except for maybe the sperry's. I don't have a pair since I don't dress preppy, but I don't mind them as long as you don't wear them with dog puke yellow chinos or anything (look at the S&P thread if you want plenty of examples)
If you want some simple, clean sneakers, I'd get vans or janoskis.
