    question on muscle memory?

In late September I shipped off for navy bootcamp in Great Lakes. Bootcamp you cant lift, sleep, eat right, or anything so naturally i lost a lot of muscle. (btw you do a lot less physical activity then you'd think and i trained hard and counted calories before so i actually go fatter) Im about to finish Engineman "A" school in few days and will be actually able to maintain a good lifting program (due to schedules, schools, watches, no sleep, constant stress+lack of diet, its near impossible to maintain a good program) i was wondering how long, with muscle memory, would it take to be back where i was at before bootcamp. i was hoping less than 4 months, id like to be pretty big for summer haha. thanks for the help

Not too long, still look better than most people.
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.
    1/13/16: Massive hernia.
5/10/16: Finally back to lifting, light but improving.

From my experience I would expect it to come back pretty rapidly. Gains will be made from week to week like when you first started lifting. No need to worry

I took a year off and lost 40lbs. I gained it back as u can see in my thread. The first 3 months I put on 20lbs.
Their are those who gain weight, and those who don't. Which one are you?

You'll be surprised how long it'll take which is no time at all.

Went to AF boot camp with the fear of losing strength but after BMT and tech school, strength came back within a few weeks or so. Don't worry about it brah.

Just look at it as recovery time. You'll be able to hit it just as hard if not harder now.
