    Opinions on working as a cashier????

    Sup I'm hopefully gonna get this job at Sears as a cashier for my first ever job and I wanted some feedback if anyone has ever worked at sears or been a cashier in general. Tips/reviews/do's/dont's Much appreciated

    I worked as a cashier for 6 months at Kmart and the only suggestion I have is that you don't work at a big chain store... too many people and heaps of pressure if you go slow, are new etc. Apart from that being a cashier can be alright. I also worked as a cashier at the local newsagent and it was the most chilled job imo, you don't do anything but tidy and serve customers.

    I worked as a cashier at some supermarket for about a year and it was a pretty simple job. Some customers actually have interesting things to say and there's almost always something to do so you won't get bored (or any free time).

    I worked as a cashier in Lowe's for 3 or 4 months, it's pretty simple job. Once you get used to everything it's very easy, just wear comfortable shoes. It's good to have something to put on your resume, when you apply for something better too.
