Is it Safe for me to Boil a Week's Worth of Chicken Breast???

I cooked a whole bag of frozen chicken breast from costco last sunday and i immediately placed it in glass tupperware & put it in the fridge. Have been eating it throughout the week. I havent been reheating the chicken or anything just eating it straight cold on a salad or with sweet potatoes veggies etc.

Is that safe? should i be doing something to preserve the chicken like adding lemon juice or something?

I usually only keep mine cook in the fridge for 3-4 days max. If I was doing it for a week, then I'd just put it in the deep freezer and pull it out in the morning, then it would be thawed by lunch/dinner.

I dont have a problem with it. I cook 2 weeks worth at a time.

For keeping in fridge I would go with 4 days max and freeze whatever else you have cooked.

I usually do a weeks worth at a time, it's fine. Occasionally it will be longer than a week for the last 1 or 2 if I decide to eat something else that day. Still fine.

I personally wouldn't boil it, but if you like it that way, that's all that matters.
