you're all idiots. The lesson you should learn is "dont judge a book by its cover" instead you argue about fat vs. roid users

To OP... I bulk and cut etc and don't do cardio when bulking for many reasons but I can still run laps if i want to but i choose not to untill im cutting or maintaining. the real issue is your misconception is a prejudice. Your a hater bro it takes alot of time and effort to build muscle. I'm speaking for myself when I say all this I cycle substances off and on yes... I work heavy highway construction all day yes, bust my ass at work and at the gym and diet accordingly you have to educate yourself, on your body to know your proper diet and how to eat right and make gains bulking and cutting is part of building to maintain. your whole post was ignorant.

It depends.
There are people who lift weights, eat a balanced and nutritious diet, who also do moderate-high levels of cardiovascular activity a few times a week.
And then we have:
Those meatheads who don't even touch fruits and vegetables, who walk less than a mile a day and think lifting heavy weight for 30 minutes is considered exercise.
It's a vast spectrum and there are a lot variables involved, so you can't really just go around saying "Bodybuilders are not healthy". The definition of a Bodybuilder is too ambiguous to accuse.F.C. Bayern Munich

I don't think it is a misconception, they may not be "healthy" but they are healthier than the average pot-smoking, binge drinking American.
and I don't believe how long someone can or can't run is a sign of health. I was 260 last year and went on constant long runs (5 miles etc.) but I was no where healthy. I ate **** all the time, drank all the time etc.
I believe a sign of good health is that your blood levels are fine, you're able to execute everyday functions with ease, and don't have any diseases, sickness, also a good diet goes long way***Canadian Crew***

True.
Thanks to IF and IIFYM im the leanest/best looking ive ever been, but my heart and overall health is probably the worst its ever been. My first two meals when my fast is broken is usually the most crap, calorie infested food i can get my hands on. Also with all the supplements i take, starting with 20,000iu daily of Vitamin D, my arteries probably look like chicken bones.

there are 10 points in fitness
1. Cardiovascular/respiratory endurance – the ability of body systems to gather, process, and deliver oxygen
2. Stamina – the ability of body systems to process, deliver, store, and utilize energy.
3. Strength – the ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units to apply force.
4. Flexibility – the ability to maximize the range of motion at a given joint.
5. Power – the ability of a muscular unit, or combination of muscular units, to apply maximum force in minimum time.
6. Speed – the ability to minimize the time cycle of a repeated movement.
7. Coordination – the ability to combine several distinct movement patterns into a singular distinct movements.
8. Agility – the ability to minimize transition time from one movement pattern to another.
9. Balance – the ability to control the placement of the body’s center of gravity in relation to its support base.
10. Accuracy – the ability to control movement in a given direction or at a given intensity.
just cuz ur low in endurance doesnt mean ur unhealthy
strength is important too
some long distance marathon runners dont have this

"You know what, I'm not fat. I'm off-season. That's what you gotta be educated you people - science! You don't know science. I know science. I'm educated that I am off-season.
Some, about 70-80% bodybuilders like to get fat off-season so they can powerlift. I'm a powerlifter off-season. In contest I get ready for a bodybuilding show. I'm a /Bodybuilder Powerlifter."

true BUT-
Are bodybuilders healthy?
Nope.
Is every aesthetic guy with above avg lean muscle mass and low body fat unhealthy?
Definitely not!!
I had a classmate in 12th who had been practising karate since KG, now he is a black belt in it.
He is most awesome and aweinspiring person i have ever met: low bodyfat, extremely strong, extremely fast, great stamina and he looks like he lifts hard and heavy even in shirts!!
He inspired me to start lifting although he doesnt lift atall but still does karate classes.
What he achieved, he did it in 10+years and he looks like it too! And most of all: he is very very healthy too.
Immense respect for him and all others like him. Martial artist usually arent big at all but hes one of the exceptions.I am trying to build muscle, if you have successfully done it and have few minutes to spare please inbox me what has worked for you. Thanks! :D
