    I typically never go over 5 reps on deadlifts. With the deadlift try not to go too high on reps, otherwise form tends to break down as you become more fatigued, which can ultimately lead to injury.

    i never go over 5 reps except for the last set of the day on 5/3/1 if i can get more than 5.

    that, and in my opinion anything more than 5 on the squat or deadlift just taxes your cardiovascular system more than anything

    Usually do 6-8 on the average day. If I'm going extra heavy Ill do 1-5.
