guys: check out ATTACK THE BLOCK.....if I had to describe it, I would say, BOYZ IN THE HOOD meets ALIENS..lol....
but it is done so uniquely and differently, that it is just really fun to watch....
be forewarned: it takes place in London "slums" and the slang is off the charts, like trying to understand "jive" lol....
of course, with captions, it was no problem for me, and after a while, I got the hang of their expressions....
also: be similarly forewarned: these are no cute Spielberg kids and ET: they are young, but gang members, and not the nicest people....and what they end up against are simply terrifying......
give it a try and I think you might be surprised!!

I had read good things about it but I actually really didn't like it.
The "gang" starts off the movie by robbing a young girl. I was fine with the aliens eating them.There will come a day when I tire of listening to 80's music. That day is not today.

Just finished. It was a pretty enjoyable watch. I definitely liked the monsters. It was pretty unique. I also turned off the subtitles about 1/3 of the way in as I able to decipher their accents by then.

the ones who were really young were: PROBS and MAYHEM....they added a little comic relief....
