    None unless it bloats you up bad, causes severe stomach discomfort, are a none-responder, or you have some sort of genetic disorder/disease/condition that could make taking it harmful. And the first two are normally avoided by using a proper dosage.

    I know people will swear that creatine cannot give acne, but for me personally, a week after taking it @5g/day my face and back break out without changing anything else in my diet except increasing water. About 4 days after coming off it my skin gets less oily and about a week and half I'm acne free and I have experimented with several creatine products many times and this always happens. Now I lowered the dose and am currently taking it at 2g and have'nt had any breakouts so far, but it's only been a week so we'll see how it goes. But that is the only negative thing I can say in my experience with creatine

    Thanks for the info. I decided to try out the kre-alkalyn this time around, so with 3 caps I'm getting 2.25g on workout days and 1.5g when off, and no noticeable acne or water retention so far.

    Need to make weight is one reason. Second is if you get bored of it, one you start using it again you appreciate it more.

    you could take 3g of monohydrate per day and not get any water retention
