I like my coffee how I like women....in capsule form? Wait what?
Anyways. AI Sports Nutrition was generous enough to give me 120 capsules of Green Coffee Bean Extract. A BIG shout out to JohnSmeton for hooking me up.
Purpose of this log:
-Give feedback on how Green Coffee Bean Extract works during a cut. Currently dropped 10 pounds or so, seeing how this helps.
My POV:
-Not a diehard supplement user. As a college kid, the need for cash is more important than most supplements for me, so no need to worry about any biases.
My Routine:
-4 day split
-Chest n Bi
-Legs
-Shoulder n Tri
-Back and Traps
Calorie intake:
-2300 daily
Goal for GCBE:
Have noticed that I crash directly after eating, which isn't the best when it's in the middle of class. Am hoping this will help even out my blood glucose levels.
Without further ado. Lets get it started!

Thanks for the encouraging words everyone.
Back n Traps day
179.0
Took 1 pill for lunch and dinner each. Noticed that my crashes weren't as severe. Definitely a step in the right direction. As to whether this is placebo or not (or body getting used to cutting, or just a random better day) - great question. I do think its too early to tell.
Tomorrow's an off day, so I probably won't log. Will up it to 3 pills a day though, which is the maximum recommended dose on the label.

Chest n bi day
Took one pill with every meal. Didn't feel a significant crash, which is pretty good when you consider that I also got barely any sleep last night. Really nice to have a consistent blood glucose level, which also translated into a better lift, since I wasn't groggy at all.
Does anyone know if there is caffeine in this? I checked the label, and it doesn't look like there is, but I'm just curious.

Home for spring break
Hit legs today at a new gym, was pretty dope
Took three more servings of GCBE throughout the day, no major crashes throughout the day. It definitely makes cutting easier, since I know sugar levels (at least for me) tend to be more variable during a cut compared to a bulk. Especially when carb cycling.

Been seeing great results on my cut. I have taken Prolab caffeine in the past, and there's a few benefits/negatives of GCBE in comparison.
GCBE is great for controlling the sugar crashes. Typically, during a cut, we become a little more sensitive to blood glucose levels. GCBE really helps get rid of the crash. Prolab Caffeine doesn't really do much to control the crash in comparison, which absolutely SUCKS for anyone who is a student or in the workforce. Unfortunately, sugar crash naps are looked down upon by others, and no, cutting isn't an excuse.
With that being said, Prolab does give me a bigger boost in total caffeine count in comparison to AI. The reason I bring this up, is because most people will look at Green Bean Extract, and will think of the caffeine levels associated with coffee, and thus assume this product holds similar levels. Not the case. I don't think that GCBE is trying to compete in that category, but in order to be fair, I wanted to cover both a positive and negative for each. For those wanting to check out an AI product that is more geared towards the strictly caffeine spectrum, I would suggest checking out AI Caffeine, which has 200 mg per capsule.
