87.5kg =>192,9 lbs a gain of almost 3 lbs.
Always have this after a carbup weekend but not this much.
Last 2 times when i carbup on the weekend i would hold0.3-0.7 kg of fluids but not this much.
Was actually hoping to be at the same weight or not holding much water at all especially since i dropped another 200 cals and started doing crossfit as well.
Probably gonna set another awesome weight loss next week thats how my body respeonds to carb ups but still its annoying.
Anyone know how i can minimize this? I'm already lots fo water and restricting my salt intake.
Anyways the mirror does say "PROGRESS", seing the vein from over my shoulder, bicep and down to my lower arm

179.7 to 176.9
Almost a 3lb loss! I have to say I'm very happy to be a part of this thread. If I wasn't I'm sure I would have quit by now. It's making sure I check in with some type of results that keeps me going. Last week I only lost .2lbs , my lowest so far...that usually would have been enough for me to quit...I've learned now that you will have good weeks and bad weeks, as long as you keep pushing you will see results.
I started Jillian's 30 Day Shred on Sunday and have been doing it everyday since except Tuesday. I also started walking around my office building 3x around, 3x a day, 3 days a week. I know there are a ton of threads on this but can someone share some advice or direct me to a thread for good exercise routines for maximum weight loss? I think I've been very confused with the whole cardio vs strength thing. Thanks!

At the end of the day, burning calories is burning calories. Your body doesn't really care (for the most part) on how it gets burned. Why most of us weight train is to preserve as much muscles as possible and still (hopefully) keep our strength up. And cardio is just another tool to help deepen the deficit. I for one do both. As I love both. The biggest thing is to do what you gotta do to achieve your goals and at the same time finding something you fully enjoy doing.
And like it has been said before, it all comes down to your diet for fat loss. And congrats on losing close to 3 pounds. That is some solid work. Keep it up."So you think you can win?....... I don't think I can lose."

Weekly delta: -1.2 lbs
Pretty happy with it because I have been losing each week and haven't had a "no-drop" since early/mid March. I was thinking I may have stayed the same this week.
Nice man. reps for sure if it weren't for this thing called spread.
now that's some proper weight loss there! repped if it weren't for spread.
I just signed up for the Oct. Dallas event. Train hard!
I was actually able to rep you. GJ

You're ahead of me in our race to 190. Normally, the spirit of competition would make me want to beat you but, let's just say, I hope it's close.
Transformations are my favorite because I know that mine was one of the best things I've ever done for my life. I have a lot of respect for your progress so far, olebuck, so much so that, in honor your achievement, I added you to the spreadsheet. Any objections (anyone)?
That's why I do these things every Spring when it's time to cut. They keep me on track. Cutting season is long. After the initial rapid weight loss subsides and I start looking "pretty good," it would be very hard for me to do what it takes to get all the way down to "really good" if I didn't know, every day of the week (including weekends) that I was going to have to report my weight.
My weigh-in this morning was 195, the same weight for the last three weeks. I'm gonna keep pushing."It doesn't matter what exercise you do, but man was made to move, to eat sparingly, to work hard and to screw as much as he can manage. Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws. The particular virtues of weight training are in the discipline it brings to both mind and body, and, if you do it right, it will make you look good naked and do well what you got your clothes off to do." You know what happened. You just told us. If I could slap you I would. You know there isn't much I want more in this thread than to stop having to look at that pudgy avi of yours (and mine). You've got to find that drive EVERY DAY. We only have four more weigh-ins left and then you won't have to put up with my $hit for the rest of the Summer, but, for now, fix it! Don't do anything crazy like prolonged fasting though. Just get back on track, eat a modest diet, and most of that will flush right out. Don't try to make up for that lost week. Just forget about it, vow to not let it happen again, and move on. Okay, rant over.

“No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” Socrates
I figured out how to not be fat a long time ago. Lately, I've just been trying to see what this baby can do. That's my motivation. This body is the only one I get and the only thing that I know for certain will be with me until the day I die. I wish I had figured that out sooner because when I think about it that way, it makes almost everything else seem unimportant. I train because I can. I train harder because I want to see how hard I can train. Someone commented on ******** the other day that "exercise is our animal birthright.""It doesn't matter what exercise you do, but man was made to move, to eat sparingly, to work hard and to screw as much as he can manage. Do all that, and you will look as good as your genes will let you, be content as the arseholes around you will allow, and maybe get a few screws.
