    Why can't I squat???

I was able to squat around 120kg for sets last year. But since this year I can't squat. I struggle on 80kg squats and I keep getting this pain by the groin on my right leg. So when I squat I squat back up just using my left leg because the pains really bad. I even tried front squats but still not working. Does anyone have a solution for this or shall I stop squats for a while and leg press instead.

Simple solution just as everyone else has said; post a video and if it's a form mistake, it's a quick fix. If it's not, then you should go see a doctor as soon as possible to determine if you're hurt or pregnant or whatever the **** it could be.

Stretch your hip abductors and work them before starting squats.
If this doesn't help, goto the doctorl.

If the pain is only happening in your right groin chances are there was an imbalance in there to begin with causing you to push off that leg harder and now since you can't push off that leg harder your squat has dropped 40kg. I remember seeing a Dave Tate video a while back, him saying groin injuries are particularly hard to get over and they linger around for a long time. You can try wrapping it with knee wraps which will mask it while you squat but the problem will still be there. I suggest mobility work and probably a week or two off of squats all together. If it still bugging you and isn't getting better after that then see a docter. However i urge you to find the imbalance that caused this in the first place and fix it otherwise it'll happen again.
