    routine help!

    Hey all,

So I recently just got a promo at work and with great responsibility comes ****ty hours. I now work 12 hr days, with a rotation of 2 days, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off and repeat.

I'm taxed after work and already up at 5am and not home until after 7. So any workout I've attempted has really lacked any "umph."

I was doing a split routine. Back, chest, arms, legs, shoulders kind of deal. That way I'm taking forever to get back to the beginning. I want to do multiple muscle groups on the same days now. I was wondering which option would be better out of the two below or any other suggestions. I really dislike the upper/lower split. I like to stay focused on one or two groups.

    Option 1:
    Day 1 - chest/bi's
    Day 2 - back/tris
    Day 3 - shoulders/legs
Day 4 - repeat or a lagging group (ex; arms)

Option 2: very similar but with muscles that work together
    Day 1 - chest/tris
    Day 2 - back/bis
    Day 3 - shoulders/legs
Day 4 - repeat or lagging group (ex; chest)

I'm unsure if I should work muscles together like in option 2. I know you do use some tris in your chest exercises and such. and some bis in your back work. I just don't want to fatigue a group doing one thing and then it hurt my next exercise or is this a good thing to a certain degree?

Any help would be great. Thanks.
