Down to 8%. Time to add some muscle.

I think I over did my first real attempt at bulking and ended up at around 16% body fat. After 5 months of very relaxed 'dieting' I'm down to about 8%.

I've learnt a lot about nutrition though and I'm looking forward to doing a lean bulk this time!

How did your cutting go? How many pounds a month did you aim to lose/calorie deficit

Cutting was pretty good, I injured my forearm at the beginning so couldn't lift as heavy as I wanted to so probably didn't maintain as much muscle as I could have.
Having a really active job helped out though as I could keep my calories high, never went below 2600, and didn't have to do any cardio.
I aimed to lose between 1-1.5 pounds a week. Some weeks I lost nothing (too much drinking ) and other weeks I'd lose over 2 pounds.

Such good fun but looking forward to not being such a fatty during this bulk

How did you measure 8%? I'd have to agree with annual, looks about 9-10% imo (image is a bit small to tell).Tremendous work for 5 months though.

Callipers said that my Avi was 5-6% which is way too low.

I have no idea what it really would be but I know it's higher then that. My guess is around 10.

Good job though, your low enough to start bulking.

    Great progress!

Very impressive man. I consume half of your cals and I can't cut like that even with my daily cardio.

But I agree that10% bf looks more accurate

    Thanks for the feedback guys!
I used calipers at home and got a trainer to do it as well, both said 8% but yeah definitely could be higher. Not too worried about the number, I feel good and the Mrs is definitely into it too hahaha

Exactly. What matters more is what you see, now what numbers say.

You can always use callipers and stuff as a scale to see if your progressing though
