    Cool Help!!! Unable to get in adequate calories

    Hey guys, so I'm IF'n with a 6 hr feeding window and I'm also following the paleo diet and I can't seem to get in enough calories for a clean bulk. I start eating at 12 then at 3:30 then again at 5:30-6. I hit the gym at 8. In those 6hrs I'm lucky to get in 1500 calorie.

    Meal 1: 2 whole eggs+3 egg whites+ 50g of chicken with spinach and a chicken salad with hemp seed oil ~500 calories

    Meal 2: 100g of chicken + 4oz of ground lean turkey + broccoli and spaghetti squash ~600

    Meal 3: Usually some combination of meal 1 and 2 ~400 calories

    I keep meal 3 lighter so I'm not overly stuffed when I hit the gym.

    I've considered a mass gainer but there's too many carbs plus it's not paleo friendly

    Any thoughts?

    You use things like lean turkey and chicken and lament that you can't get in an adequate number of calories? use fattier cuts of meat and fatty ground beef (e.g. 85/15).

    You can also work in calorie dense options like peanut butter, ice cream, etc.

    How is something like this even possible? I can eat 1.5k cals in 1 meal in less then 5 minutes and still want more food..is something wrong with me?

    what are these meals u eat consisted of?... usually it takes me about 10 min to eat a 1k cals meal unless it's super delicious

    Other Solution: Stay Paleo and eat tablespoons of lard, coconut oil, etc. etc. etc.

    You complain you are not getting enough calories, but then are eating egg whites............LOGIC?

    2 whole eggs and 3 egg whites. But you can't get enough calories? Soooooo...why aren't you eating the entire egg?
    And your averaging 500 calorie meals. Double what you eat and you will be on your way.

    Why are you making this so much harder than it needs to be?
