Hey guys, so I'm IF'n with a 6 hr feeding window and I'm also following the paleo diet and I can't seem to get in enough calories for a clean bulk. I start eating at 12 then at 3:30 then again at 5:30-6. I hit the gym at 8. In those 6hrs I'm lucky to get in 1500 calorie.
Meal 1: 2 whole eggs+3 egg whites+ 50g of chicken with spinach and a chicken salad with hemp seed oil ~500 calories
Meal 2: 100g of chicken + 4oz of ground lean turkey + broccoli and spaghetti squash ~600
Meal 3: Usually some combination of meal 1 and 2 ~400 calories
I keep meal 3 lighter so I'm not overly stuffed when I hit the gym.
I've considered a mass gainer but there's too many carbs plus it's not paleo friendly
Any thoughts?
