    Squat form check

    Attempting a 120kg High bar olympic style squat. Thoughts?

    Im 5 ft 11 and 165 lbs if that helps

    Well, i dont see a problem with your squat, you seem to be hitting the right depth, all i can say is while you are squating, never look down, even when you are standing, because it deactivates something in your head (forgot name, was told about it by ray lewis at a football camp) and i cant see from the video but make sure you are not on your toes, ground your heels.

    You sure stand there for a long time...so long it is kind of weird. I mean it took almost a full minute to do 3 reps.
    I see all these people searching for the secret to gain muscle/get stronger. There are two secrets actually; going to the gym and eating.

    Olympic lifters squat all the way down because that is where they catch the bar for clean & jerks and snatches. So you'd have to go much lower to be an Olympic squat if you are striving for the same goals.

    lol. Ive a problem aligning my hip knee and ankle on my left side. Takes me a while till a feel im in the right position

    Yeh im aiming to do that. Dont have the flexibility at the minute as my lower back rounds when I go deeper than this. Going to gradually decrease my depth each week until i do
