G'Day Folks......looking for a little feedback and personal opinion/experience.......I know its been debated and discussed in the past, but of the threads I have reviewed I still havent been able to come to a solid conclusion.........
I'm 8 weeks out and need to decide on a tanning product. Dream Tan is banned, so thats a no-go.
I have been debating between Jan Tana or Pro Tan..........leaning towards Jan Tana Ultra 1 - thinking three coats day before, touch up morning of and then they have a Hi Def Glaze to throw on. Anybody used this product in the past????? Or swear by another product or combination of products?????
Pics to support your opinion would be awesome.
Thanks in advance.

Liquid SunRayz is THE best product on the market....and I have tried them all. 2 coats (...versus 4-6 of the others), dries very fast and completely, minimal rub off on clothing, sheets, chairs, etc, very little odor, and does not run when sweating on stage. It is very easy to apply with a brush or is becoming more common with the professional spraying services. I guarantee you will not be disappointed.....

This. LSR is the bomb. Everyone's skin is different, and everyone will react differently to the formulas. I strongly urge all new competitors to try stuff out well before their shows. Dream Tan is banned because it has that glittery gold stuff in it and it creates a damn MESS backstage.
I always get sprayed by the LSR folks, but if they're not at your show, you can still do it yourself with their foam. The reason it's superior is, as stated above, you need very few coats - 1-2 tops. It dries VERY quickly and it doesn't run or streak. You can roll around in bed at night and you won't rub it off. It also doesn't seem to smell as bad as the others. It's VERY dark, and is more of a darker brown color than the others, which tend to be more orange.
Regardless of which product you decide to use, your skin prep is equally as important as the product itself. I use the pH balanced scrubs starting at about 2-3 weeks out and I skip the moisturizer post-shower during that time. The drier your skin, the better the product will stick. Make sure you scrub all your deodorant off thoroughly before you get sprayed, otherwise your armpits will turn green. I usually take a few showers right before I get sprayed and use that pH scrub, just to be sure.
