Hello guys.
My names Josh and I'm 15 years old. I am quite lanky and pretty weak at the moment. I have been following a Bodybuilding routine for almost a month now, and I have seen some decent increases in size, but I haven't really seen much strength increases.
My main goal is to get stronger and hopefully get alot bigger as I get stronger. I just wanted to ask of you guys think that I should ditch the Bodybuilding routine, and go for a power lifting one?
I have been told that powerlifting is quite bad for someone of my age, is this true?
Any advice will be really appreciated!

OP Heck yeah change. If your stats are correct and you're really 5'7" at 121, I'd suggest powerlifting routine over bodybuilding even if you were eventually to get into bodybuilding. Reason being is that with powerlifting you'll be focusing on the big 3 so far as lifts go. Heavy(relative to strength levels) compound movements (squat bench and dl) are going to help to add mass. Don't forget to eat like you don't know where your next meal is coming from and sleep. So far as age goes, If you do it responsibly and safely, you can train at any age. The good thing you've got going for you is that you're about to enter that time in your life where testosterone is at it's peak and gains will come. Good luck to you.

hell yeah man go for it. i followed a strictly bodybuilding routine when i first started out too. saw some size gains but my strength was utter crap. its honestly pretty disheartening lol. i'd recommend starting out with babylover's starting strength as a beginner
