Different for Assault rifles and stuff like that but it's easy to buy air rifles and shotguns, more powerful ones need a license but it's not hard to get a license if you don't have a criminal record. Government doesn't come into it, you only deal with Police to get your license.

We have places all over called shooting ranges (indoor and outdoor). For people with a lot of land they can just make their own shooting range on their property and shoot whatever they want

We can even shoot tannerite in some states
