For years I have just wanted to go in for my physical, have the doc say, "Well, according to the chart, Mr. B__, you are overweight. It might be prudent to have a look at your diet." Then I'd pull up my T-shirt and say, "Well, according to these abs, Chester, I am a badass!"

if you are eating 2500 kcals a day, that means you are eating 2,500,000 calories (the units on the boxes of cereal) a day, which means you would be spending every minute of the day eating to reach that.

I am not quite sure if you are trolling. All American foods in my cupboard have Calories listed (kcals), not calories. In the context of diet, I just assume anybody saying calories means Calories or kcals.

Why do you think i had the post earlier about the capital letters and people trying to be nitpicky about it, because saying "im eating 2.1" kcals is stupid, just use a bigger number in the thousands. You cannot eat all of your food and then say "oh my cottage cheese was 0.223 units of energy". Use big numbers and be done with it.
Use numbers everyone will understand, like pounds or kg, not stone. Its about simplicity, everyone KNOWS the specifics.
